2024 USA Softball of Sacramento Umpire Training Sessions (All Adult and Youth officials)

Please let the UIC (Rudy) know if you plan on attending any of these sessions.

This is an opportunity to work towards your full certification with the rest of the USA Softball of Sacramento group.

Tuesday   01/23/2024   GSSA Orientation & Fast Pitch, Equipment pickup

5:15pm to 5:30pm Check-In

5:30pm to 7:00pm Meeting

NCOA High School Umpire Group (for those who would like to officiate high school softball)

7:00pm to 7:15pm Check-In

7:15pm to 8:45pm Meeting

Thursday 02/01/2024    Umpire Exam review.  Site to be determined

Lund Park, Fields 1, 2 & 3 Moved to Fields 4 & 5 on the West Oaks Blvd. side of the complex

Sign-In: 8:30am to 9:am

Instruction: 9am to 1pm

Lunch Provided

For All officials who wish to work at RGFPSL.

This will also meet requirements for field clinic requirements for NorCal officials

All umpires will need to attend a field clinic for 2024.

Whether you are brand new to sports officiating or have several seasons under your belt, USA Softball Umpires work every year to certify themselves and improve their skill sets as officials.

We will have a solid and fun program in store for 2024 adding new opportunities, additional support, training and a challenging, fun, safe place to work.

Since 2018 the RGFPSL Umpire Group has been the largest in our association (Greater Sacramento) which had the 2nd largest number of youth officials in the country.

Our ages range from 11 to 68.  If you have love for the game and an urge to try this very rewarding position, this is the perfect place to be. We have strong ties to our NCAA, NCOA and Travel Ball Umpire Associations.  We are here for you.
